In less than 30 days Mobile Fan Zones will visit about 100 cities during a 20 day period. This way it will provide hundreds of thousands of sports fans great fun during the public viewing of UEFA EURO 2012™ on huge screens. Fan City Tour project press conference took place on 10th May 2012 in Warsaw. Not only did the press representatives participate in it but also Partners of the Project- Official Sponsors of UEFA EURO 2012™ as well as Media Partners, other Partners and special guests.
During the ceremonial inauguration, the first of Fan City Tour trucks were presented along with the list of cities taking part in the project and the web page www.fancitytour.pl
During the conference, a debate concerning the issue of business and promotional usage of the UEFA EURO 2012™ unique event by Polish brands and Polish cities took place. Among those who participated in the debate were representatives of the Fan City Tour project Partners, the Association of Polish Cities, the Association of Polish Counties and representatives of the Polish Tourism Organization.
At the end of the press conference the winners of the contest “Invite UEFA EURO 2012™ to Your City” were chosen. The awards were match tickets sponsored by CARLSBERG and KIA MOTORS- official sponsors of UEFA EURO 2012™.
